Due to an unforeseen and extended power outage, the Sullivan County Courthouse will be closed Thursday, September 3, 2026. Regular hours for the Courthouse are to resume on September 4, 2026 at 8:30AM.

The following county office will remain open:

• Sullivan County Children and Youth

• Sullivan County Conservation District

• Sullivan County Library

• Mattern Building

The Sullivan County Department of Emergency Services was notified of positive West Nile Virus mosquito samples collected in Sullivan County.

The Sullivan County Board of Elections shall have all its electronic tabulating equipment tested to ascertain that it will accurately count the votes cast for all offices in the General Municipal Election to be held on November 3, 2026.

The Sullivan County Commissioners are accepting resumes for two (2) part-time library assistants for the Sullivan County Library in Dushore.

The Sullivan County Commissioners will be accepting sealed bids for work to be completed at the Sullivan County Garage.

The Sullivan County Board of Elections will meet for the purpose of computing and canvassing returns of votes cast May 19, 2026.

The Sullivan County Board of Elections will begin pre-canvassing at 7:00 a.m. on May 19, 2026.

The Sullivan County Department of Emergency Services is looking for contact information from local community and volunteer groups interested in helping develop a pre-disaster plan for Emergency Food and Shelter.
