Department Description
The Bradford/Sullivan Drug and Alcohol Single County Authority (SCA) is responsible for the delivery of Drug and Alcohol services in the area of prevention, intervention, treatment, and recovery within Bradford and Sullivan Counties. The SCA assesses the needs within the county and develops programs that are designed to meet those needs using the most efficient means possible. Some of those needs are best met by contracting for services with out-of-county providers. The SCA acts on behalf of the Bradford County Commissioners to manage State and Federal grants.
Services Provided
Drug and Alcohol services are important to those in need. The drug and alcohol program of Bradford and Sullivan Counties can assist those in need in the following ways:
Screening, Assessment, and Referral
Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient
Partial Hospitalization
Inpatient Rehabilitation
Halfway House
Case Management
Medication Assisted Treatment
Preferential Treatment Services
Pregnant women who inject drugs
Pregnant women who use substances
Persons who inject drugs
Overdose survivors
Veterans
Risks of Injury or Death

Overdose Prevention Supplies
Bradford/Sullivan SCA is a Recognized Entity for overdose prevention supplies through the PA Overdose Prevention Program. This program is a joint initiative between the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) and the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP). As a Recognized Entity, we can provide the following overdose prevention supplies free of charge:
Narcan Nasal Spray 4mg
Fentanyl Test Strips
Xylazine Test Strips
Wound Care Supplies
