EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: Human Services Assistant

The Sullivan County Commissioners are seeking qualified and motivated applicants for the position of Certified Assistant II – Human Services.

This position will assist the office in administering federal and state funded programs. The successful candidate must possess a valid PA driver’s license with a good driving record and must be able to pass a criminal background check. A degree in a human service – related field and/or experience with human service programs is preferred. A potential exists to earn accreditation with the PA Department of Military and Veterans Affairs and become certified with management of the Section 8 Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development Housing Choice Voucher Program. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is required. Candidates must have excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently as needed.
