Sullivan County Muncy Street Garage

The Sullivan County Commissioners will be accepting sealed bids for work to be completed at the Sullivan County Garage located on the alley adjacent to the Sullivan County Courthouse public parking lot – 245 Muncy Street, Laporte, PA 18626.

Work to include preparation of the existing 25’ x 105’ shingled roof for installation of new metal roof and installation of the new metal roofing and trim. All work shall be done in accordance with the Pennsylvania Construction Code. Clean-up and disposal of all debris will be the responsibility of the contractor. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage applies to any bid over $25,000.00.

Sealed bids shall be clearly marked “Garage Roof” and submitted to the Chief Clerk, Hope Verelst, no later than 4:00 pm July 24, 2026. Bids may be delivered in person or by mail to 245 Muncy Street, Laporte, PA 18626. Sealed bids will be opened and read aloud at the regularly scheduled Commissioners’ meeting on July 28, 2026, at 10:00 am. A bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid price shall accompany all bids. Bond may be by Certified Check, Irrevocable Letter of Credit, or other financial security acceptable to the owner.

The Commissioners have the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof.
