Invitation To Bid: Mowing for 2026 Season

The Sullivan County Commissioners will be accepting sealed bids for mowing and trimming every two (2) weeks (or sooner by request) at certain county-owned properties for the upcoming 2026 season. The properties consist of:

  • Sullivan County Agricultural Center / Children and Youth Center: 9219 Route 487, Dushore, PA.

  • Sullivan County Medical Center: 217 King Street, Laporte, PA.

  • Mattern Building: 7406 Route 487, Mildred, PA.

  • Veterans Memorial Bridge and South County Sign: South Route 220.

Bidders may submit a bid for any or all locations using the bid worksheet supplied by the county. The bid worksheet can be obtained by contacting Maintenance Supervisor Rodney Rohe at 570-946-8707 or rrohe@sullivancountypa.gov.

Submit bids to Chief Clerk Hope Verelst, Sullivan County Courthouse, 245 Muncy Street, PO Box 157, Laporte, PA 18626 by 4:00 PM, FRIDAY, APRIL 17, 2026. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Commissioners’ meeting on April 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM.

Bids shall be sealed and clearly marked “Mowing Bid”. The Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids.
