With heat index values expected to top 90° over the next couple of days, the Mattern Building in Mildred will be open as a cooling center for anyone who needs a break from the heat.

📍 Location: Mattern Building, 7406 Route 487, Mildred, PA 18632
🕛 Hours: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM, Tuesday & Wednesday (June 24–25)
⏳ Extended hours may be added if needed

Please check in on elderly neighbors and anyone with health concerns who may be more at risk during extreme heat.
