The Sullivan County Board of Elections will reconvene on Monday, November 18, 2024, at 9:00 AM in the Media Room of the Sullivan County Courthouse, Laporte, PA 18626, to conduct the statewide mandatory recount of votes cast in the General Election held November 5, 2024, for the position of United States Senator.

The Sullivan County Board of Elections shall have its electronic tabulating equipment tested to ascertain that it will accurately count the votes cast for the office of United States Senator in the recount of the General Election that was held on November 5, 2024.  Said procedure shall be held in the Sullivan County Courthouse on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 2:00 pm in the media room of the Sullivan County Courthouse. 

Sullivan County would like to make residents aware of a potential “smishing” campaign that has been circulating regarding voter status and voter registration.

In accordance with Section 106 a conference call must occur with interested parties and the Pennsylvania State Historic Preservation Office, as the following proposed activity, Sullivan Victim Services Improvements project has resulted in an adverse effect.
