Administrative Employment Opportunity: Deputy Chief Clerk & Director of Elections & Voter Registration
The Sullivan County Commissioners are seeking qualified and highly motivated applicants for the Full-Time position of Deputy Chief Clerk & Director of Elections & Voter Registration.
The successful candidate must possess a valid PA driver’s license with a good driving record and must be able to pass a criminal background check. At least three years of clerical, business, or administrative experience is required. An Associate’s degree or higher is preferred; however, candidates with relevant experience and training will be considered. Knowledge of Pennsylvania election and voter registration law is preferred but will train. Payroll processing experience a plus. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is required. Candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills with absolute attention to detail and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Starting wage of $23.52 per hour depending on experience. Additional benefits include a defined retirement, employee health and life insurance, 14 paid holidays, paid vacation, personal, and sick days, and optional family dental, vision and Aflac insurance.
